LOAD-BEARING COLUMNS
The reinforced concrete pillars that we often see in underground parking garages, for example, have stabilizing steel reinforcement bars embedded inside them. The latter are first joined using welding gases such as Ferroline C18 from Messer. The gas ensures the high quality of weld connections and with it the long-term stability of the structural elements. For cylindrical components such as pillars or pylons, the spun concrete process can then be used to introduce the surrounding concrete.
