NATURAL RELAXATION
The Sárvár thermal spa owes its existence to a disappointment: in the 1960s, this small town in western Hungary was the focus of a search for oil which ended up discovering water instead – twice! Water with a temperature of 43 degrees centigrade was found at a depth of 1,200 meters while another source of even hotter water with a temperature of 83 degrees was located 2,000 meters underground. The exquisite spa that was built in Sárvár in 2002 is a member of the “Royal Spas of Europe”. The pH value of the bathing water is kept in the neutral range between 7 and 7.5 using carbon dioxide from Messer, a method that is both environmentally friendly and kind to the skin.
